At Home Latte

Sweats and play dates and cinnamon butter pecan lattes at home because I love this place called Carolina very very much. Grateful for all the momma friends and all the lazy days we get to enjoy our squishy babies 😍Heres an easy DIY Latte for home if you can't get to your favorite local shop every day.

RECIPE:

- Espresso

- Cinnamon butter pecan simple syrup

- Milk of choice

- Dash of cinnamon on top

Ok so for an easy beginners machine I recommend IMUSA's Espresso machine that you can buy from Amazon #thankyouprime. It is user friendly and overall easy to figure out day 1. If you learn by seeing hop over to my Instagram and watch the video in my coffee highlights!

Once you have pulled 1 (or 2) shots of espresso you will want to add your choice of sweetener or syrup to the hot espresso so it dissolves evenly. I recommend Monin syrups and Torani sauces (also can be found through amazon) For this recipe I used two pumps of Torani's Butter Pecan Syrup.

Stir it up and while that sits you will grab your milk of choice. My pro-tip here that is my personal preference is to add your milk and espresso/syrup combo to a blender (I LOVE my nutri-bullet) and blend for 30 seconds. After you are done pour over ice and add a dash of cinnamon on top! The blending works exceptionally well when using non dairy milk because it will give your latte a frothy delicious kind of finish which is almost like having whip on top #winning but I especially love this aspect with non dairy because I always use half almond milk and half canned coconut milk as I find that thats easy to store on hand and SO dreamy and creamy! You could easily use whole milk or skim or whatever you fancy! Thats it! Simple and easy and you didn't even have to put on pants.
